What is a home watch service?

What does this include?

  • The Basic plan includes:
    • Exterior, Walk the grounds and check for:
      • Papers, mail, and trash
      • Leaks cracks and peeling paint
      • Rodents
      • Vandalism
      • Drainage issues
    • Interior checks
      • Visual inspection throughout entire property including the garage.
      • Check A/C is running properly and check the Humidity level, reset if needed.
      • Check for visual signs of mold and mildew
      • Run the dishwasher, run the disposal, all faucets and flush all toilets
      • Check for any signs or evidence of water leaks
      • Check electric panel for tripped breakers.
      • Look for signs of insects and rodents
      • Confirm that all doors and windows are secure
    • Home watch checklist completed and sent to the homeowner. Pictures included.
    • We will call the Home Watch customer immediately while on the premises if there are any major abnormalities found.
  • Or we can prepare a tailored program just for you.
  • Home checks can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

What about a Storm?

  • Are you close enough to prepare your home if a storm is on the way?
  • Will you be around after the storm too:
    • Make sure that the power goes back on?
    • Stop any further Damage?
    • cover the roof if it needs it?
    • Check further damage and take pictures for the insurance company?
  • Get an estimate from a contractor if you can find one that has the time for you?
